Pétange

The municipality signed the Pakt vum Zesummeliewen on the 10 of March 2023 and participated in this pilot project until 2024. 

While the municipality of Pétange already carries out many actions to promote intercultural living together (tour of the town with newcomers, campaign for participation of the non-luxembourgish citizens at the elections, visit of the European Parliament,…), a review of the situation highlighted other areas of additional interest.

This review is based on an awareness-raising letter sent out to the residents of Pétange and an in-depth analysis carried out by our contracted partner CEFIS. These practices are used to give an indicative picture of living together in Pétange.

The municipality of Pétange signed the « Gemengepakt fir interkulturellt Zesummeliewen »  on the 02.07.2025

A steering committee of 4 members, coming from the council of elderman, two associations and the consultative commission on integration, has been set up to oversee the various stages of the “Gemengepakt fir interkulturellt Zesummeliewen” process.
